This course is part of the Online Paediatric Pain Curriculum (OPPC). The goal of the OPPC is to provide a broad education platform for health-care professionals to learn about pain with clinical, basic science and ethical themes. They can be viewed independently and interchangeably.
Differentiate between pain and nociception; understand the difference between adult and preterm neonate nociception and the long-term consequences of painful events in early life.
