In this module, you will learn how to promote effective and safe pain management using opioid analgesics, when clinically indicated for pediatric patients; better understand and minimize potential harms associated with opioids for acute pain management and deliver essential components of children, youth, and caregiver (e.g. family) education when prescribing opioids.
