The SickKids Public Health Nutrition Course (SPHNC) is an open access e-learning resource designed primarily for health professionals, but also students and individuals seeking to learn more about nutrition in a globalized world.
In order to increase the availability of training to healthcare providers and front-line health workers worldwide, the SickKids Centre for Global Child Health has developed the SickKids Public Health Nutrition Course (SPHNC) and the SickKids Global Child Health Course (SGCHC). By leveraging the expertise and global networks of SickKids, these free, open access online courses provide participants with exposure to key issues in global child health and public health nutrition, with an emphasis on maternal and child health. These innovative and dynamic courses are designed primarily for healthcare professionals, but also students and individuals, especially those based in low- and middle-income countries seeking to learn more about global child health and nutrition, while striving to keep abreast of current evidence in a globalized world.
